Building an inclusive and effective team

SECURITY PARTNERSHIP WITH APRA

South Africa has one of the highest crime rates in the world, with Johannesburg being particularly hard hit. It is therefore highly important that individuals, private security companies, and local police all work together for the safety and betterment of the community. The Antioch Initiative has, with the help of the Auckland Park Residents Association (APRA), led Auckland Park towards more comprehensive security solutions.

A better neighborhood for everyone

NEIGHBORHOOD ENGAGEMENT

The Antioch Initiative helps host seasonal meetings for our street to discuss concerns and build relationships. We have helped to host a monthly clean-up with neighbors, police, and security companies all involved. Our learners are critical participants at these events. These are great opportunities meet real needs and to share the gospel and show the love of Christ in practical ways.
