ABOUT OUR ORGANISATION
Founded in 2007 in South Africa and expanded to the USA in 2012, The Antioch Initiative has been a driving force for positive change in a number of environments and municipal-ecosystems for more than a decade. With our base of operations located in Charlotte, NC and another office in Johannesburg, we serve w Citizens in several Cities across the world as needs and opportunities arise.
THE LEARNERSHIP
A major goal of ours is to ensure that disadvantaged high school graduates aren't left to fend for themselves in our struggling economy or unable to obtain access to higher education. In the same vein, and the same program, we help university students finish their degrees excellently and prepare them for the working world. One of the main reasons The Antioch Initiative exists today is to support Church@44's services every Sunday. Our church aims to be a Godly family for a spiritually under-served community in the center Johannesburg. With years of investment in this area, we are really seeing the fruit of our labor, and hope you’ll help us continue this work.
EBENEZER FARM
Another of our main endeavors here at The Antioch Initiative is Ebenezer Farm, a camping, recreation, and conferencing site located an hour's drive from Johannesburg, next to a poverty stricken informal settlement.
